Blackberry Cobbler

The original recipe is here. Per usual I modified it to be less sweet and to use All Purpose Flour instead of Self Rising Flour.

1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Flour
1.5 tsp Baking Powder
.5 tsp Salt
1 Cup Whole Milk
1/2 Stick Butter, melted
2 C. Blackberries (I use less)

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Mix the sugar, flour, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add in the milk and melted butter and stir till just combined.
  4. Pour into a 9 x 9 casserole dish (I use a round one) and top with the berries*
  5. Cook for about 50 minutes, check it and prob. cook for 10 more.

*original recipe adds more sugar on top before you bake it but thats too much sugar for me.
